STORY

Lacie: 00:59

Standing in her kitchen, Miss Barule stirred her bowl of gumbo while gazing out the window. Unexpectedly, a large, semi translucent chunk of meat rose to the top of the mixture. When Miss Barule looked down into the bowl to take another spoonful, she snarled. The air got hot around her.

Miss Barule slammed the bowl into the kitchen sink and the contents began to slowly sink down in the drain. She stomped her foot, faced Dr. Apples and launched towards him.

Miss BaRule (yells) (French):

Arrete! Arreter maintenant! ( Stop! Stop now!)

Lacie:

Only the table stood between them. Although her almond complexion glowed, her face turned a dark crimson with gray tones. When her rage erupted. Those same brown eyes were now black as tar. They even had a glaze to them. Those same angelic eyes that touch your soul could squeeze your heart mercilessly with no plans of letting go.

You could see most of her teeth when they gritted together. When she leaned on the table, she made it wobble a bit. She stared directly into his eyes.

Doctor Apple's eyes widened when he saw those two dark black coals burning at him. He froze in his seat and dropped his spoon.

Miss BaRule (calm): 03:34

I have told you countless of times, Fae are dangerous. I understand your curiosity, but you must remain on good terms with the fae. No exceptions, Pomme (Apple)!

Lacie: 03:50

She took a deep sigh and gracefully lifted her head with a breath. In a slow blink, her eyes gradually grated back down to brown. She stood up and walked to her room. The table had steam rising from it. The smell of burnt wood hit his nose, and the table was left with burned in hand prints.

Dr. Apples didn't finish his meal.

All of this from some fairies, huh? Fae? The only arguments between Doctor Apples and his mother were those about Fae. Their history, power, ability to become mortal were all subjects Doctor Apples and Miss Barule quarreled about.

These equivocal perspectives, which were once welcomed, became nuances filled with banter and heavy gesticulations from doctor Apples. Miss Barule noticed the increased fascination and obsessive behaviors of her son with Fae.

With the increased tension in the household and her health declining while trying to keep up with the demands of the simplest, she thought it might be a good time for doctor Apples to take a break away from home. Perhaps the change of scenery would alleviate his obsession.
